देश की सुरक्षा में युवाओं की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण : श्री नितीन गडकरी

VNIT में विकास के लिए राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा में युवाओं की भूमिका पर राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का शुभारंभ-

देश की सुरक्षा में आधुनिक तकनीक का उपयोग आवश्यक है और इसमें युवाओं की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण है। परिवर्तन एक शाश्वत प्रक्रिया है। आधुनिक तकनीक का उपयोग कर हम अपने भविष्य को और सुरक्षित और सुखद बना सकते हैं।

उक्त उद्गार केंद्रीय भूतल परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री श्री नितीन जी गडकरी ने व्यक्त किए। वे आज़ शुक्रवार, (22 अगस्त,2025 को) विश्वेश्वरैया राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान वीएनआईटी VNIT में “राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा में युवाओं की भूमिका” पर दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का ऑनलाइन शुभारंभ कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री जी द्वारा निर्धारित लक्ष्य “आत्म निर्भर भारत” को साकार करने की दिशा में इस सम्मेलन में, आंतरिक सुरक्षा, आर्थिक सुरक्षा और साइबर सुरक्षा जैसे अहम मुद्दों पर विषय विशेषज्ञ चर्चा करने वाले हैं। श्री गडकरी ने कहा कि हमारे आदर्श पुरुष स्वामी विवेकानंद जी ने कहा था कि इक्कीसवीं सदी भारत की है और उसमें युवाओं की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण होगी। इस आलोक में वर्तमान सम्मेलन काफ़ी अहम है। श्री गडकरी ने कहा कि मूल्य और संस्कार आधारित शिक्षा आज़ समय की मांग है। उन्होंने कहा कि संस्थान को लोकाभिमुख होना चाहिए।

यूथ फॉर नेशन के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आयोजित दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन की अध्यक्षता वी एन आई टी के अधिशासी मंडल के अध्यक्ष श्री माडा भूषि मदन गोपाल,आईएएस (निवृत) ने की।स्वागत भाषण संस्थान के निदेशक प्रो प्रेमलाल पटेल ने किया।सम्मेलन की प्रस्तावना डॉ ज्ञानप्रकाश सिंह, सम्मेलन की आयोजन समिति के अध्यक्ष ने रखी।दीप प्रज्वलन एवं सरस्वती वंदना के साथ प्रारंभ उद्घाटन सत्र में अतिथियों के हाथों अवसर विशेष के लिए प्रकाशित स्मारिका का विमोचन हुआ।उद्घाटन सत्र को वाइस एडमिरल रमन पुरी, लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल वी के चतुर्वेदी (सेवा निवृत्त) एवं प्रो डी एस चौहान ने संबोधित किया।

धन्यवाद ज्ञापन आयोजन समिति के सह अध्यक्ष प्रो रत्नेश कुमार ने किया। समापन राष्ट्रगान के साथ हुआ।द्वितीय सत्र में लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल शौकिन चौहान, कमांडर वी के जेटली (निवृत्त) एवं डॉ रविंदर सिंगल पुलिस आयुक्त नागपुर ने सम्मेलन में उपस्थित 400 से अधिक युवा शक्ति का मार्गदर्शन किया।तृतीय सत्र में प्रो दुर्ग सिंह चौहान, श्री टी एन झा, श्रीमती एईका चतुर्वेदी बनर्जी ने छात्रों को संबोधित किया।शनिवार को लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल वी के चतुर्वेदी, श्री संदीप पाटिल, श्री भास्कर राव, लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल रविंदर सिंह पंवार, अरविंद त्रिपाठी,कमोडोर ए आनंद (निवृत्त), डॉ विनय कुमार सिंह, श्री बृजेश सिंह, सुश्री सरिता कौशिक और एयर मार्शल शिरीष देव (निवृत्त) सम्मेलन में छात्रों का मार्गदर्शन करेंगे।

National Conference on the Role of Youth in National Security for Development Inaugurated at VNIT. The use of modern technology is essential for the nation’s security, and the role of the youth in this is crucial. Change is an eternal process. By using modern technology, we can make our future more secure and pleasant.

These thoughts were expressed by the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari. He was virtually inaugurating a two-day national conference on “The Role of Youth in National Security” at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) today, Friday, (August 22, 2025). He stated that during this conference, subject matter experts will discuss key issues like internal security, economic security, and cybersecurity in a bid to realize the Prime Minister’s goal of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-Reliant India). Shri Gadkari said that our role model, Swami Vivekananda, had stated that the 21st century belongs to India and that the youth would play a vital role in it. In this light, the current conference is very important. Shri Gadkari also said that value-based and cultured education is the need of the hour. He added that institutions should be people-oriented.

The two-day national conference, organized in collaboration with Youth for Nation, was presided over by Shri Madabhushi Madan Gopal, IAS (Retd.), Chairman of the VNIT Board of Governors.The welcome address was given by the Institute’s Director, Prof. Premlal Patel.The conference’s introduction was presented by Dr. Gyanprakash Singh, the chairman of the organizing committee.The inaugural session began with the lighting of the lamp and a ‘Saraswati Vandana’ (prayer to the Goddess Saraswati), followed by the release of a special souvenir by the guests.

The inaugural session was addressed by Vice Admiral Raman Puri, Lieutenant General V.K. Chaturvedi (Retd.), and Prof. D.S. Chauhan.The vote of thanks was proposed by the co-chairman of the organizing committee, Prof. Ratnesh Kumar. The session concluded with the national anthem.In the second session, Lieutenant General Shaukin Chauhan, Commander V.K. Jaitley (Retd.), and Dr. Ravinder Singal, Police Commissioner of Nagpur, guided more than 400 young people attending the conference.

In third session Prof. Durg Singh Chauhan, Shri T.N. Jha, Smt. Aeka Chaturvedi Banerjee guided the students.On Saturday Lieutenant General V.K. Chaturvedi, Shri Sandeep Patil, Shri Bhaskar Rao, Lieutenant General Ravinder Singh Panwar, Arvind Tripathi,Commodore A. Anand (Retd.), Dr. Vinay Kumar Singh, Shri Brijesh Singh, Ms. Sarita Kaushik, and Air Marshal Shirish Deo (Retd.) will guide the students at the conference.
