नागपुरात, शिक्षण हक्क कायद्यांतर्गत (आरटीई) प्रवेशासाठी बोगस कागदपत्रे दाखल करून प्रवेश मिळवणाऱ्या 17 पालकांविरोधात बर्डी पोलिस ठाण्यात 420 आणि 34 अन्वये गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे.
या पालकांनी आपल्या मुलांना जवळच्या अनुदानित किंवा सरकारी शाळांमध्ये प्रवेश मिळवण्यासाठी बनावट निवासस्थानाचे पुरावे आणि इतर कागदपत्रे सादर केली. हे मुलं त्यांच्या घरापासून 3 किलोमीटरच्या आत राहत नव्हते, ज्यामुळे आरटीई अंतर्गत प्रवेशासाठी ते पात्र नव्हते. या प्रकरणाची चौकशी करण्यासाठी आणि भविष्यातील अशा घटना टाळण्यासाठी शालेय शिक्षण विभागाने एक समिती स्थापन केली आहे. समिती या 17 प्रकरणांचा तपास करेल आणि आवश्यक तेथे पुढील कारवाई करेल. या घटनेमुळे शहरातील आरटीई प्रवेश प्रक्रियेत पारदर्शकता आणि जबाबदारी राखण्यावर प्रश्नचिन्ह उपस्थित झाले आहे. शिक्षण विभागाने या प्रकरणाचा गांभीर्याने तपास करून योग्य ती कारवाई करण्याचे आश्वासन दिले आहे.
